Let’s Recognize and Combat Anxiety 

First let’s start with  signs of anxiety that you might be feeling:

  • Feeling nervous
  • Feeling helpless
  • A sense of impending panic, danger or doom
  • Increased heart rate
  • Hyperventilation
  • Sweating
  • Trembling

Next we will learn some ways to help combat anxiety:

  • Keep physically active.
  • Avoid alcohol and Street drugs.
  • Quit smoking and cut back on drinking caffeinated beverages.
  • Use stress management as well as relaxation techniques.
  •  Definitely make sleep a priority.
  • Eat healthy foods.
  • Learn about your disorder.
  • Stick to your treatment plan.
  • Identify triggers
  • Keep a journal.
  • Finally don’t forget to Socialize.
